MDE Virtual 5K

To Register for the actual event where you can log your time you have to visit link for the ACTIVE.COM site.

Your shirts will be mailed to you or ready for pick up at the MDE School located at

1517 Johnson Ferry Road #100, Marietta, GA 30062 on June 28th, 2020 between 2-4 pm. 

We are excited to announce our first virtual 5K to help support the MDE School!

 We were hoping to launch our first race as a live event but due to our current situation we have decided to go ahead virtually this year so family and friends can still get out there to walk and/or run with us and Go the Social Distance!

This years event will take place July 1st- July 5th to give you 5 days to get outside, hop on your treadmill, take the kids stroller or wheelchair to the park, or go for a hike to get in your 5K. We will conclude this event Live on our FB page at 8:00 pm on July 5th.

Your participation will be vital to MDE to be able to continue providing services to our students. Our students come from all over the Atlanta area, with all different language-based learning abilities, to learn in unique ways that are such a necessity to them. From life skill lessons that focus on community involvement, leisure time, health care, vocational/technical options and living arrangements through hands-on, real life application.

Join us for our virtual 5K event to and help us bring MOTIVATION, DEDICATION and EXCELLENCE to all of our students!

The most important thing is for you to get out there and have fun knowing you are supporting some incredible kids! 

 For our students who don't have the ability to get out and walk/run themselves they will love watching what you share with us online to support them.

To qualify for an AMAZON GIFT CARD you must log your time on our registration on the ACTIVE.COM page to be placed in the drawing.
